Washi from Precious Pieces is handmade in Japan. We appreciate the artisans we work with that share their art of papermaking brought to Japan by Buddhist monks in the year 610 AD. This process of the all natural manufacture of exquisite parchment has been passed down from family to family and still uses the same techniques as 500 years ago.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
